"Or deport some illegals."

I like the way you think. ;^)

The homosexual movement seems to be systematically taking over symbols. Hawaii had used rainbows as a symbol (because of the rain, you can see a rainbow almost every day), but seems to be giving it up because the homos use it. Further, the University of Hawaii hired consultants to come up with a new logo. No more would they be the Rainbow Warriors. I seem to recall them paying $80,000 to a mainland firm for junk logos.

Does "pink pork" mean we can expect a Michael Moore statue?

What does Quetzalcoatal have to do with homosexuality and AIDS?

Not a damn thing. It's called a "twofer", meaning that they can kiss two asses at the same time. This could backfire on them; I'd like to hear what the macho, heterosexual, Catholic, Hispanic male population thinks about having Quetzalcoatal hijacked for the gay agenda????

If I said what I'd like to say about our state legislature, never mind the rest of the circus, Admin mod would pull the post and ban me.

Why isn't the ACLU all over this? Is it because this memorial honors their god?

Actually, according to Aztec legend, he was a white-skinned god who sailed away to the East with a promise to return one day and end the practice of human sacrifice. Then several centuries later, in a boat that sailed from the East, along came this white-skinned personage riding upon a strange animal and shooting fire from a rod that he carried, who proclaimed an end to human sacrifice . . . his name was Hernando Cortes.

I'll let them build a monument to Quetzalcoatal if I can build a monument right next to it for Cortez.

"I don't think Queztalcoatl was evil in any way . . . "

I don't either. He was a builder with a world-wide passport with many different names and reportedly migrated to the Americas to resume the mining of gold after the great flood made it impossible to extract in Africa . . . and tin for bronze.

---but many Chicanos associate him with the Aztecs, but he was a Toltec.

Formerly known as Nin.Gish.Zidda, grandson of Anu, son of Enki, younger brother of Marduk of the ancient pantheon. Also known as Thoth in Egypt. (Re: Z. Sitchin)

"God helps those who help themselves."

Sounds good, but this statement cannot be found in The Bible.

You don't have to say it, S.O. (although it would probably do you a lot of good). Everyone gets the message, and I certainly agree with you.

It said: "HIVisionaries!" and showed two Hispanic men KISSING. Sorry, but isn't that an insult to the majority of the Hispanic, Catholic population?

I saw that billboard. It's gross! Those men need a shower and a shave, badly.

It's a discusting (sp) billboard, and insulting to more than the hispanic catholics.

I just want to know what to do. I'm stuck in this state for 10 years (per custody order), my kids are getting a rotten education, there won't be any jobs by the time I get out of college, the quality of life sucks, everyone is getting taxed to the point of usury. Recalls and tax revolts are all good, but when is this misery going to end?

One would think so . . . but this is California.

Despite the title of this article, the details here and some of the comments in the thread are further evidence of the Left's affection for killing off large numbers of human beings.

They, the Left and its useful idiots, scream bloody murder about any symbol funded with public money and/or placed on public property that is related in any way to Christianity -- a religion that demands of its followers to protect innocent human life in His name.

Now this same Left is looking to erect a symbol of bloody human sacrifice of a -- hopefully -- long dead religion, and they have the gall to demand no "hateful" criticism over it.

How much more evidence must be provided of the absolutely sick and blood-thirsty nature of the Left and its envirowacko intelligentsia?

Oh well. Move on. Nothing new to see here.
