This is a web site that claims to test your intelligence. I scored a 131, and was listed as a "word warrior!" How do you test out? The test is here!
BTW, I have no idea what intelligence testing means, other than what I've read in "Flowers for Algernon."

I think the score goes down depending upon how much time you take ... some of the answers were philosophical in nature ... my 20+ years of writing software makes me stop and ponder all possibilities over and over (LOL) so I'm sure I took longer and that may alter the score ...

117 after two glasses of double shot rum and coke. I guess I'll consider myself lucky.

The test they gave me wasn't that tough; the trick is getting selected to even take it. And, Alex Trebek himself administered it at Yokosuka Naval Base - guess he wanted the free flight to Japan ;)
I was lucky to get my name pulled from a hat to come take the test at all. I might have made it onto the show if I hadn't stood a 12-hour mid (night) watch the night before the test - big argument with the ex-spouse, caffeine nerves, and half-dead on my feet.
Jeopardy! runs contestant searches from time to time that they advertise on the show. I hope you can get on one. I'll certainly try again if they ever test in this area.

131, Facts Curator. The glaring problem with this test is number of questions that require you to know something. IQ tests are supposed to measure how smart you are, not how much you know. Math is out too, since that mixes in education with the results.
If you really want to know you're IQ then you can see a psychologist who will give you a real IQ test, most likely the Wexler. This sort of stuff is fun but unreliable.

How can you find what you missed?
Do they time it?
135 here....I would have sworn I aced it.(sans one)
Do they weight it with the demographic query?
I'd sure like to know what I missed but they want money to tell me that.
I thought it was easy. I was not sure about the numbers.(like or dislike)..but since John Doe picked out the larger number in the pairs that he "liked"....I picked the largest of the answer group....that one I might have missed.

I was looking at the part about the answer key and the answer they had as MY answer was not the one I chose. I have a degree in art and I remembered the one I chose, and WHY I chose it. They had registered a different answer from the one I picked. I think their program is flawed. My IQ was fine, but I don't think their system is working. Maybe they just give everyone about the same IQ.
I think I will take the test again tomorrow and pick all the wrong answers on purpose and see what number I get..... LOL

That one I know I got right. The answer was 900.
All the ones he liked were squares. 400, not 300, and 2500, not 2400. I don't know which ones I got wrong. My score was 136, which is about what I always get on these kinds of tests.

if you do that, the program will classify you as "Dianne Feinstein" or possibly "Yasser Arafat" ... LOL

You're right and I obviously missed that one.
How are some folks getting their score card?

LOL, this translates to, "Did you ever have difficulty grasping the concepts your math teachers found interesting?"
... we compared your answers with others who have taken the test, and according to the sorts of questions you got correct, we can tell your Intellectual Type is an Insightful Linguist.
The first thing we can tell you about that is you have the natural fluency of a writer and the visual and spatial strengths of an artist. Those skills contribute to your creative and expressive mind.

How are some folks getting their score card? Maybe they're paying for it. They want $15.00. It's not worthit to me.
One of the ones I wasn't sure of was the following: In a race he runs 30 mph one way and 10 mph coming back. She runs 20 mph both ways. Who wins? I picked impossible to tell. I was thinking it would depend on the distance. But I think that was wrong. Does anyone know the answer?
I'll check in in the morning.
To: Betty Jane
Didn't that question name a starting point like X and a turn-around point like Y, so that the distance was fixed?
