What happened to the good ol' days when you felt lucky if you made the team or the squad, and if you didn't make it, you'd try again next year? Parents didn't interfere back then, it was a school thing. Today's little darlings can't take rejection, and their parents won't tell them that it's just part of growing up, they would rather make a beeline to the nearest ambulance chaser.
