Haunting Hillary in Huntington (Carl Limbacher, Mike Seigel, and Sean Hannity Show Up)
Where was Greg Packer?
Isn't Huntington, N.Y. his home town?
From http://www.timessquare.com/bway/features/feat_guy.html:

First in Line Guy: Obsession or Art Form?
by Reid J. Epstein

Greg Packer stood in line for eight hours before meeting Brandy, the pop singer
PHOTO: David Phillips

By 8 o'clock on the coldest morning of the year, Greg Packer was already in his second hour waiting in line to go on a double-decker bus tour of Manhattan with Brandy, the R&B singer.

Spending a day waiting in line to meet celebrities is not unusual for the 38-year-old Huntington, N.Y., native, but his position so far back in the queue was. Packer has made obsessions out of being first in line and of being in the company of celebrities.
But on this day, he was 15th in line. That was good enough, for his goal was just to be among the first 50 who would make it on the Brandy bus.

If there's a global or celebrity-laden event in or near New York, odds are Packer is there, or is trying to be there...

Levin has been filling in at night on WABC 77 in NY since Mike Savage was fired last week. I believe the show starts at 6 pm but I dont have time to listen at night so I am not sure.

Nice job Ron. Rather that the usual "already posted here". Each of these threads, as dupes usually are, are worth a read.

Thanks for good links

Great, if planned proper you only need a few people to show up. Just talk to the police as soon as you get there. Try to set up right in front of bookstore entrance but across the street away from the adoration line. People will join you and hold signs if need be. The kids last night were just so much fun. For many of them the Presidential election in 2004 will be the first time they get to vote and hopefully they will recall last night when that time comes.

Good luck.

The line was pretty large. We got there by the time the booksigning started at 7 pm and those in the front had been sitting there for 12 hours or so. Around 915 or 920 Deadhead and I went out for a smoke and the line was gone and being replaced by the Potter fans. I figure it was under 2000 people waiting. Huntington is like a mini Manhattan as I told Firebrand last night. They even have horse drawn carriages. Traffic is horrible too.

Those on the front of the line had to watch us for a good hour or more before they were let into the bookstore.

When I went to Hannity book signing last year they let us all in bookstore and it was a zoo, fun but a zoo and HOT.

Hillary was signing on the 2nd floor right above us. I doubt she looked out but you know her handlers did and they were met with the GO HOME HILLARY sign and the VIP HILLARY sign.

What a great FReep!

Did you ever get to see the Hildebeast? or was it protected from view as usual?

Just as an aside, over a week ago I went to Wayne LaPierre's book signing of his new "Guns Freedom and Terrorism"... great book and was he ever nice. Surprised, no protesters, just lots of people getting books signed.

Never got a glimpse of her. Yes, protected as usual. I am certain that she saw us :-)
