Three members of the Leesville High School class of 2003 were arrested this week for simple battery of a fellow graduate on school grounds while school staff watched.

The incident, caught on tape by a student's video camera, took place on the field of Wampus Cat Stadium after a graduation rehearsal May 16.

He explained that the Leesville High School staff has a history of not reporting crimes on campus to police, like when knives are confiscated.

Reason: PR, many public school administrators do cover up criminal behavior. Often such crimes are blamed on "poor teaching techniques." The administrators want to keep the public ignorant so that the public will continue to vote for "needed" school taxes.
