Random comments on the points race...

• If Flash hadn't already won 4 championships and got himself kicked out of the "young guns" league prematurely, it definitely would be the year of the "young guns".
• Where did Bobby Labonte and Mikey find the fountain of youth, and more importantly, can I afford it?
• If Rusty wins a race, he'll be an instant contender. Other than no wins, he's pretty damn consistent.
• Speaking of Wallaces, mark this date down; Kenny moved ahead of DJ.
• Is it the equipment, the driver, or both over at the Yates ranch? Every week, one of them gets a DNF, and it's usually DJ, and it's usually equipment that up until last year was bulletproof.
• Kyle, it wasn't John, it's the equipment.
• Does Travis Carter realize that you need 8 cylinders to run in NASCAR? Fukuyama looks to be running a V-6 out there.
