You should have a problem, as our government is mandated to enforce individual rights and rule of constitutional law.
It does not enforce the 'moral' rules of men. These rules are wisely left to our establishments of religion, freely exercised.

Where do you think the laws that we live by come from ?
They come from moral law.
It gets tiresome explaining this to those who can't think it through and just want to go for for the quick quip.
The notion of rights is derived from a moral law.
