The Bible talks about incest, prostitution, etc. because it is giving a moral message. A child who is an avid reader of the Bible, if they can even understand it, probably isn't going to be of the same moral caliber as a child who is an avid watcher of Keen Eddie. I would venture to say that the same could be said for most adults as well. Not that every TV program produced in this country should be required by the government to give a moral message; however, the government does and should have a role in regulating what is on TV. I don't want to live in a country where anything goes on TV, but it sounds and looks like we are heading to that low. I'm not Alec Baldwin and don't plan on leaving, but it's a shame to see we are going the same route as sleazy old Europe. Europe just happened to venture out on their journey a few days before we did.

I do have to agree with you on that Schindler's List "old man parts" though. I know for me, seeing a reenactment of people being stripped of their dignity and hussled off to their deaths by the Nazis was a real side splitter. I slapped my knee so hard it started to hurt and nearly peed my pants.

Yes, it was shown unedited on TV. Now that I have seen your post, I understand the reason why it was presented in that fashion. It wasn't to convey the human suffering and horrors perpetrated by one of the most evil regimes in history as I had first thought. It was so that the people at home who hadn't seen it in the theater could also get a good chuckle.

And you expect a 16 year old to really pay enough attention to a movie that long to get past the oddness of seeing old man parts?
