What comes next? Someday I predict people will be able to do surgical and genetic modifications to grow extra body parts...an extra hand or arms, extra digits on the hands, blue skin, permanently red fingernails...

Actually, I've heard of a set of identical twins. One was left handed, and the other was right handed. The plan was to amputate the right arm (at the shoulder) of the left-handed twin and surgically attach it to the pectoral muscles of the other twin. They both had the same blood and tissue types.
Don't know if they ever found someone to perform the procedure, though.
