Why would they tell CNN anything about the interrorgation?

Sounds like the US wants the word out that this guy is talking, even if he isn't. This way the guy has no reason not to talk cause he's been marked as a stoolie. He'd have some 'splainin to do to his friends back at the terrorist camp. This guy is in a no win situation.
