Ok, fine. But the next time she does this and kills someone what punishment can we inflict upon her? Can we punish all the rest of you who think this is ok UNTIL she kills someone?

I've breastfed babies. While not difficult, this is a 7 month old baby. They tend to squirm. If a baby is spending 50 minutes to nurse, she is likely pulling off the breast to grin and is playing around. Babies don't drown every time they are left alone in a tub, does that mean leaving a baby alone is ok UNTIL it does actually drown?

I imagine the possibilities 24/7 for 23 years now. So I make damn sure that I don't do stupid things to put my children's life in danger. I don't leave the driveway until my kids have their seatbelts on, etc. etc. I can't control what they do when I am not there.....but I don't take UNECCESSARY chances when I am in charge. It's about common sense and protecting my kids as best I can. I don't think that is so difficult to understand.
