"Journeys With George" to be re-aired in June on HBO Signature

Hi all... I just wanted to let everyone know that "Journeys With George", the campaign 2000 documentary shot by NBC reporter Alexandra Pelosi, is set to be re-aired in June on HBO Signature. The schedule is below:

May have to check it out, missed it the first time around. Was it fairly done? Alexendra Pelosi is Nancy Pelosi's daughter.

Yes, I thought so. It is a good documentary, and shows President Bush's funny side.

By all means, DON'T MISS IT !!

It is one of the best documentaries I have ever seen. He is extremely kind to Pelosi's daughter, almost to the point of flirting with her. She said in an interview after this was done, that she was very impressed with him, and he treated her fair.

You get a real feal for what the campaign was. It is narated great, and you feel like you are on the trail with them. From snowball fights to the local Diner's, you see how W. touched everyone.

Keep your eyes open for when this airs...it is just simply GREAT !

A cool movie; I saw it at a film festival a year or so ago. The Q&A session afterwords made clear that it is really a mirror for the audience's prejudices. If you love Bush, you think it draws a flattering portrait of him. If you hate Bush, you think it is a scathing indictment of him.

Thanks for the heads up. I learned recently that DirecTV will let me have HBO turned on for just one program, if I wish. I turned it on for the April Dennis Miller special and then cancelled, and it cost me $.80.

I saw most of Travels with George last year, and I really loved it. Dubya came off as genuine and funny. But that was pre-911. I doubt that he's still the same carefree Dubya that the movie reveals.
