WASHINGTON (AP) -- Internal Revenue Service employees using thousands of computers accessed prohibited Web sites that included personal e-mail, sexually explicit sites and games. To Treasury investigators, it was a sign that "significant misuse" of the Internet continues after a crackdown a year ago.

ELIMATE THE IRS, switch to a NATIONAL RETAIL SALES TAX. Put those 47,000 LOSERS who are IRS employees OUT of WORK, especially since over 50% of the answers they give to tax related questions are INCORRECT. Let them compete (haha) in the private sector. Eliminating the IRS would save around $10,000,000,000 a year. That would cover about a third of the new Bush tax cuts. Even Democrats can't argue with that.

Better to have them surfing www.sexwithfarmanimals.com than poring over our returns, trying to wring more $ out of us.

The IRS has no excuse. The USPS "blocks" offending sites without difficulty, and it's generally not possible to bring up a "nekkid" picture.

Looks like management failing to properly prepare the workplace for the workers again!

I have developed zero tolerance for government employees. They are concerned about two things - their next raise and their next vacation - The word service means nothing to these leeches anymore - It is a gravy train for the unmotivated and uncreative who would rather join a union than work diligently to become someone in the private sector - Two exceptions---those in the military and those that serve to protect us locally, namely police and fire. I have no respect for any of my friends or relatives who have boarded this train - I have watched them devolve into self-loathing slaves to the government plantation - they make me sick.

Excuse me ... do you really think the dems are going to be willing to lose all those voters ... LOL

That's about all they have left - federal workers - they have skunked most of the rest of their voters.

Let 'em browse up www.fatolduglychicks.com as much as they want. Hell, give 'em bonuses for coming up with the most bizarre porn sites on the web.

Sen. Grassley, STFU, and leave these hard working IRS folks alone in their amusement.

Anyone who would be an employee of the IRS deserves sickness, plague, depravity, foulness and pain served upon them and their family. These people are the lowest scum on earth. Less than scum; they are the particles scum exudes as it deteriorates. May their children suffer for their actions. May their pets go blind and slowly die.

Look here now, somebody has to be the public executioner and better the candidates be self-selected than that we just grab somebody off the street.
