To bvw:

You really don't know what you are talking about my friend.

I thought the same as you until I looked at the facts. I am Jewish btw (just check my freep page) and I researched the Facts the other day here at Free Republic on this thread:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/929408/posts

"Yes, They Were Guilty. But of What Exactly? [NYT FINALLY admits Rosenbergs were guilty!]" (name of thread from NYT).

This is what we found out from researching that thread:

* The Rosenbergs did NOT have to die.
Eisenhower and the FBI kept communication open with them and had a special phone line just for them in order for them to confess. They chose not to confess. Why? I'm not sure except they felt that being a Communist or a martyr to their cause would prove something to the world. Ethel called America a "fascist state" (sound familiar?). Eisenhower did NOT want them to die.

*The Rosenbergs were guilty.
The Van. files from the Soviet Union showed that they were in fact spies.

I did not see the History Channel's airing of David Greenglass and therefore I am unable to judge whether he is telling the truth now or was telling the truth then.

*McCarthy was not an anti-Semite, he was pro-USA.
History has shown (through the Van. files, etc) that McCarthy was right. The Left has scapegoated him, but we can see today through our own country/universities/government that the Left/Communism has infiltrated everywhere. There is no Joe McCarthy to hold them back today. I too believed that the Rosenbergs died through some weird anti-Semitism of the USA until I actually read the facts on the first thread I pointed you too. Yes, until that night I believed as you do. I did a lot of research on it btw, so you might want to read it. The proof is there my friend.

Ann Coulter's new book "Treason" is going to go into these points and more.

This is the Ann Coulter thread:

Please read that one as well for more information.

Did you see the show last night? Probably will repeat in the next few days. Greenglass was not a sympathetic interviewee. Neither was Sorbel who said Greenglass was doing "the devil's work" when he cooperated with the Feds.
