The body of a former Portsmouth nursing home patient was buried Wednesday morning on the property of a Siloam residence after spending four days in a freezer.
The Greenup County Sheriff's Department was not releasing the name of the woman, but did confirm she died Saturday and was put in a freezer by her son — who's name was also withheld — until she could be buried.
"It's the weirdest thing I've ever dealt with," said Sheriff Keith Cooper
