We should have disbanded the FBI and started over when Hoover died. It's not too late to do that now. We should allow the new agency to hire FBI Agents and staffers that meet new standards, but no Special Agents in Charge, Deputy Directors, or any other administrators should be allowed to work for the new agency.

The FBI's "Unforgivable Sin" -- "embarrasing the FBI" -- a holdover from Hoover's policy of glorifying the FBI...and himself...

After what I observed and documented re the FBI's handling of the OKC bombing, I agree with you wholeheartedly: the FBI can not be "cleaned up" -- it must be destroyed and rebuilt...and all existing managers scrapped in the process.
