WASHINGTON - Condoleezza Rice is used to making tough policy decisions as President Bush's national security adviser. Soon she'll face a tough personal decision: whether to run for governor of California.

Republicans in the state have been buzzing about the possibility that Rice, the former Stanford University provost who makes Silicon Valley her permanent home, may seek the Republican gubernatorial nomination in 2006.

She would fit well in California, but her social positions put her out-of-step for getting the Republican nod for president in '08.

I cannot in good conscience vote for someone who is pro-abortion. This is unfortunate because I really liked her.

I cannot understand how anyone professing to be an evangelical christian could be in favor of keeping abortion legal. This is like saying "I believe that God created all people, but if and when I get pregnant, I have the right to decide whether to let my baby's life continue or end."

This is so inconsistent and unwise coming from a supposedly intelligent woman.

No they Don't.

As long as GWB puts two on SCOTUS, her positions take a backseat, and if Hillary runs, Condi is the Kryptonite that kills her political career.

No Democrat can win a national Election against a Black Woman with National Security Credentials.

Watch the media....they are very afraid of Condi. Subtle digs at her are already out there. Heard one such pundit remark that she appears to be a policy wonk, cold, and lacking in personality........ then went on to add that in personal meetings she is very warm and friendly.

I thought he was referring to her heinous, but no he was referring to Condi..........
