No, I haven't read any Malachi, ever. Did a quick google though and it looks interesting. I'm in need of a new book, care to recomend one of his? Was he a catholic priest?

Yeah, he was a Jesuit at the Vatican during the Vat.II Council. He left the order and wrote extensively about internal stuff including high end masonry infiltration. His reputation also was tainted by an affair with some reporter's wife around the time of the Council. I read Windswept House and you'll need the name code to figure out the characters(and there really is such a place.) I've heard The Keys of This Blood is better. He wasn't a great writer by any stretch of the imagination but he had the inside view and continued with his contacts over the years.
