Hah!
There are actually forward-looking, intelligent people in positions of authority.
Imagine....just for a moment....a nuclear Iran.
As the old high school cheer goes:
"Take 'em out, Take 'em out........way out!"

I have a feeling that we are already involved in helping the people of Iran become free. I hope we are. I hope this gives the Islamofascists ulcers and night sweats.

I hope president Bush gets on Air Force One and flies out to LA and goes live on the air on one of the Satellite NEWS shows that broadcast into Iran and gives the Iranian people one of his uplifting speeches on freedom and liberty and maybe even use his line from the SOTU speech "The liberty we prize is not America's gift to the world, it is God's gift to humanity"

Only one Islamic nation rallied against terrorists after 9/11-- Iran, the freedom loving people of Iran as they risked their lives to take to the streets and shout against Islamist terrorism and held candles as a part of a massive vigil.
Good bless the poor, beaten people of Iran.

Go ahead and flame away, but we should STAY OUT. Ever notice how as soon as we come to an Islamic country's aid they all band together against the 'infidels'? This is a land mine.

I believe that statement-- it's right from the Declaration of Independence and Ronald Reagan believed it (read the "Tear Down This Wall" speech-- it's a human rights speech). If God Almighty has given mankind the gift of free will, then it is a glorious thing for the U.S. to deliver that gift to the world. Without us as the world's big brother, bullies will keep our little brothers on the schoolyard from exercising free will. Look at our enemies list (past and present)-- they all have one thing in common: they hate liberty.

I agree. If our intelligence services are merely reacting to this stuff, they are WAY behind the curve. I'm betting they've been involved for some time now. The Iraqi liberation is probably encouraging the Iranians, too. We better not leave the Iranians high and dry on this one, we need to be helping here.

Yep, and look at what always happens when tyranny takes hold. You can cite the USSR, China, Nazi Germany, Khmer Rouge, Iraq, a ton of others. What do they all have in common? Leaders who literally rape and kill for their own sadistic pleasure, and millions of dead citizens filling mass graves (those damn masses eat too much food and breathe too much air.)

They threaten to band together all of the time, but their tribal vigilante nature has a tendency to make their unions dissolve rather quickly. But together or apart, it makes little difference as the only thing they can intimidate are goober-farming American liberals and poodle molesting Frenchmen.
The less aggressive we are, the more they bomb, and the bolder they are at using thug's tactics to keep their own dissenters fearful and silent. The more aggressive we are, the more they jump up and down and wave banners, and hold their breath until their faces turn blue; yet our support gives strength to the moderates & pro-western people among them. Personally, I like it better when they jump up and down and ham it up for our gullible liberal press to when they are out hijacking planes and hacking off people's heads while western countries look on like so many helpless eunuchs.
Our inaction has historically emboldened terrorist nations. Iranian backed terrorists have been killing Americans since 1979 pretty much unopposed; it's high time we put an end to it.

Oh, what the hey?
We need regime change in..Uh..Kenya, Sudan, Israel, Egypt, Ummmm, China, Korea, Russia, Malawi, New York State, Mexico, Columbia, Peru, Argentina, Th' U.N., Cuba (for sure!), India, France, Germany, Norway, Jordan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey......
Hell, why don't we just take over the world?
It'll be so much simpler with just a One World Order and of course ONE monetary system to control!

Anything we can do to fan the flames of freddom there is a plus, that rats nest of the Murdering Mullahs will continue to produce more terrorism unless they are dealt with.
