Identical twins have markedly similar behavior, body types, and diseases - throughout the years, though not exactly identical - it varies somewhat depending upon experiences, as does everything. The north and the south side of the same mountain are slightly different, because of their different exposures.

Bob, there is no 'second egg' with identical twins. Sorry. And all the 'soul believers' appear to have agreed that a soul is in residence following conception, as evidenced with first cell division, but no one (among the 'soul believers') has asserted that the union of sperm and egg caused the soul to take up residence ... and it would be obvious to you in any other debate where you were not trying to 'win at any cost' that the advent of soul is the part that God does, the parents provide complex chemical messengers ferried to the union by a living cell from their respective bodies.

Oh, I realize you don't likely believe in God, but we 'soul believers' do. Now, would you rather address spirt, instead of soul? All living things have a soul and the species of the organism determines what species of soul the Creator gives to each of those alive things.
