Lori Piestewa died at Iraq hospital, witnesses say

WASHINGTON - Army Spc. Lori Piestewa arrived alive but seriously wounded with Pfc. Jessica Lynch at an Iraqi hospital three hours after their vehicle was struck in an ambush by a rocket-propelled grenade and crashed, according to a newspaper report containing Iraqi eyewitness accounts.

Although he said Lynch displayed no evidence of being shot or stabbed, the doctor was quoted as recalling, when pressed, "Maybe Miss Lori, maybe shot."

No wonder their dropping like flys over there if this is the skillful DRs they have... how hard can it be , did she have a hole in her or not???

I'm sure that all of the bodies were autopsied after they were recovered.

The thing is, these Iraqi mds and nurses might have reason to lie if they allowed mistreatment of these prisoners. Can we believe them when they report what wonderful treatment they gave?

For most people, it's unimaginable to think of physicians assuming the role of torturers and executioners. Yet under Saddam Hussein this is what took place. Whether the complicity was forced or voluntary, physicians participated for years in the state's apparatus of cruelty and terror. As researchers for Physicians for Human Rights in Iraq, we spoke to many doctors who reported on complicity in these heinous acts. The state wanted them to have "dirty hands," said one senior surgeon, who told us that they acted on a government mandate ordering all surgeons to participate in cutting off the ears and branding the foreheads of army deserters. In one hospital, all surgeons -- general, orthopedic, plastic, cardiac and neurosurgeons -- were reportedly required to perform the mutilation.

Warning... the original source of the story "details," is the Washington Post, which has printed a LOT of rubbish about Lynch and Piestewa before. There were two Post writers who apparently made up the initial story. The Post kind of admits it had the facts wrong but the two mendacious reporters are still on the case.

Be very, very leery of this Wonder Woman crap coming from these people who don't mind publishing outright lies, so long as it supports their "greater truth" of a left-wing agenda.
