Listen, I connected the above news story with the chatter I was hearing. They may not even be related. The real cyber attack could be in an entirley different form (or multiple forms). I just don't know.

I have to say, however, what better way is there to detect a large amount of vulnerable IP's without drawing much attention?

BTW, if LANCOPE is releasing viruses for gain, that is an illegal act, and tracable. Think they'd risk it?
