W. is no conservative GW may not be a full conservative BUT he is way better than the alternative. After his term(s) we can adjust a little more. After so many years of socialistic conditioning ... the people of this country are going to take a little time to overcome the brainwashing of the left. We need to remember that a journey consists of a step at a time

GW may not be a full conservative BUT he is way better than the alternative. No he's not. As I explained, Gore would have been blocked by the Congress.

The trouble with your step at a time theory is the fact that Bushs steps are in the wrong direction. Name just one program he ever tried to eliminate. Lets make it easier. Name one program he ever tried to shrink. There are none.
Bush is a true believer in big government. He believes government is the answer to every problem. The Republican Party used to be the party of smaller government. Bush is making it the party of bigger government.
You cant turn around by racing in the same direction you have been going.

You know, I think I stumbled into a colony of pure Bush hate. At least there are some like you who will defend him from time to time. I thought all of this 'hate' wasn't worthy of "Freepers". But I guess I was wrong! Apparently, there is a 'clique' of them that do. It's sad though; but there is no getting through to some of them.
