I thought Rush's implication to both of those callers was that to vote for anyone but Bush would be a mistake.
I also got the impression (and perhaps it was just my impression) that before the last hour was over, Rush was thinking that perhaps he'd better tone down the rhetoric before he ran off all the GOP voters.
Now, I didn't hear the middle of the show; I heard the first part where Rush was carrying on about women's lib (there was a thread here on FR a couple of months ago that brought out most of the points he had in the opening monologue)...doctor's appointment in the middle part...then I heard perhaps the last 30 minutes.
2 callers in the last 30 minutes saying that they weren't planning to vote for Bush in 2004, and Rush indicated to both of them that it would be a mistake.
He also asked one caller what they expected Congress and the President to do, when 75% of the voters said they wanted the government to fund prescription drugs for the elderly.
