About Capitalism and Communism... GK Chesterton wrote back in the 20's that they really had a lot in common since they both wanted to concentrate the wealth in the hands of a few and give the workers only what they needed. Today with the floating dollar and the necessity of two incomes I don't doubt that the neo-cons are possibly commies in disguise even if they don't know it.

What Chesterton said back then has come true. He predicted that big business and big government would be working together against the little guy, that being you and me. What we have today is a form of national socialism. I believe the we fought a war to defeat that.

My favorite statement of Cheserton's is from his book called EUGENICS and OTHER EVILS. In which he said, quite rightly that INdustrial Capitalism is an admitted failure because it can't afford to pay one man enough to support a family as large as he would freely choose. This is of course recognisable when compared to a farm that can support a family without having to corner the market on one crop, or to state it more clearly without being a commercial enterprise.

Yes, I agree. If our current version of capitalism is so successful, then why are heading toward racial suicide like an 80-mph car headed straight for a brick wall? The technicians are all eager to get it up to 81 mph, but seemed unconcerned about the brick wall. With women in the workforce and a man unable to support his family, the reality of birth control and abortion is inescapable.
