Whew. What got me was the article says he's upset, but doing well. How can he be doing well! I feel upset not even knowing the bishop and being hundreds and hundreds of miles away. Reminds me just a bit of Chappaquidick. The poor family of the victim, and the people of Phoenix who are now wondering what their bishop was up to. Sad, sad. Hitting is most serious, and leaving the scene is unthinkable.

Here in Phoenix, the local station's news break on the Sean Hannity radio program, interviewed a lady.

This lady said she almost hit the pedestrian AFTER he had been run down and was lying in the road. She said the road was so dark that she didn't see him until she was almost on him. I think she was the one who called the police. It didn't sound like she actually SAW the car(s) that did this.
