What a sad episode.
As a Catholic, I'm hurt to find out a minister of the gospel did not stop to help an accident victim, or at least, to call for help.
What happened to the Good Samaritan example to help people injured on the road?
But remember the point of the parable about the Good Samaritan. The injured man was passed over by the rich man and the priest. It was the Samaritan who stopped and helped. So who was the injured man's 'neighbor' in this case? In this case, two cars left the pedestrian to die; a priest and (a rich man?). It was the third that stopped and called the police...
