A special election will be held Tuesday, June 17 to fill the 168 District Seat in the state house left vacant by the death of Matt Ryan.
The candidates are Republican Thomas Killion and Democrat Bill Thomas. The winner will serve the remainder of the term, which expires in January 2005.
Killion is a former County Council chairman. Thomas challeged Ryan for the seat in November.
The 168th District includes includes Newtown, Media, Middletown, Edgmont, Upper Providence and Thornbury.
