Let's pray that the U.S. has sent enough "help" into the throngs that this protest will result in victory and not slaughter.

They don't need our help, they have more than enough strength to do the job. An American presence there will taint the legitimacy of the protesters, and the mullahs have already insinuated that they are U.S. lackeys. We don't need to undermine them by playing clumsy CIA games where they're not needed.
