Stop The Liberal Assault On The Boy Scouts

A couple of weeks ago, I heard one of the newscasters on FOX make reference to the Supreme Court case which started this whole brouhaha on the national level.

FOX GOT THE CASE RESULT 100% WRONG, SAYING THE BOY SCOUTS HAD LOST THE CASE!!

Also, Fox represented the matter as being "the Boy Scouts trying to keep homosexuals out." I thought the whole Supreme Court case (which was a set-up to begin with, as are so many Marxist attacks on American institutions from A to Z) was about whether the Boy Scouts could forbid a person to be a scout LEADER if the person professed to be homosexual.

If the Boy Scouts have among their members BOYS who happen to be homosexual in orientation, I fail to see how that would matter to anything. Such young boys need guidance and wholesome influences as much as do any other young boys. One central, necessary concept in the whole idea of a group like the Boy Scouts is going to be its NON-SEXUAL nature.

I don't think homosexuals are always tuned in to the sexual side of their nature. Surely they take time out to work, study, (and sue people), etc., and do the same non-sexual activities that the rest of us do. I would hope that people would think the Boy Scouts had about as much relation to anything sexual as, say, the IRS does.

And here's where I'm gonna get pelted with stones, but I'm gonna say it anyway: There ARE a few things of interest in the world BESIDES sex, you know.

People also need to remember that one homosexual organization submitted an amicus curiae brief in support of the Boy Scouts' position, during the litigation before the Supreme Court. They did this b/c they had no trouble seeing the larger issue of FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION.

If those homosexual organizations who do NOT see the larger issue here want to continue to press this issue with the Boy Scouts, I invite you all to join me. We're going to go visit ALL the many gay clubs across the nation. We're going to go there and demand that WE be given full membership, and that we get to be there for ALL their activities. I figure I could get quite a large group of boring, middle-aged, average heterosexual couples together. Oh, the joy those guys will feel when we--along with our middle-age spread--join them on the dance floor under the big mirror ball. And I'll say to them, Well, c'mon, guys! You wouldn't wanna discriminate against us because of our sexual orientation, now, would you?

Come on, everyone! Let's fire up the RV's and go do it!! The heck with the Supreme Court!

The best young men I have ever employed were former Eagle Scouts.

In the same way the Marines say "Once a Marine, always a Marine" so it is with Eagle Scouts. As the father of an Eagle Scout, former Scoutmaster and current Troop Committee Chairman, allow me to point out that Eagle Scouts are specifically charged to uphold that honor for the rest of their life.

Thank you for recognizing the quality young men you have hired that have earned the honor of Eagle Scout. My son has also benefitted in that way from employers.

As to the Philadelphia situation, this is a matter for National BSA to get tough about if they desire to retain the recognition of the right of private association by the Supreme Court. Further whittling by the homosexual activists will result in the BSA becoming a thing of the past when moral churches decide to disassociate their young men from Scouts.

While other adults have respect and admiration for me because they know how hard it is to attain such a rank and how difficult it is now more than ever.

BSA used to be tagged with honor and dignity along with being a great 2nd teacher to young men across to the country. But now I think that the publics thought is declining, when only one major controversial rule happened. I still participate and help out in the troop because I want as many people to have the same great experience that I did.

The issue is that of freedom of association.

The Boy Scouts' policy was aimed at Scout Leaders, not boys, who I agree need healthy male experiences.

First, the homos wanted to "just live in peace".
Then, they moved on to " Just wanting tolerance in society."
Third, they started teaching homosexual acts in schools as a form of "Tolerance education."
We can't forget "Hate crimes", so their lives become more valuable than heterosexuals.
Next came freebie marrage bennies because they were having sex with someone they "love".
Now, they want all to bless their "marrages".
Boy Scouts? Pedophilia and NAMBLA's "Freedom to express themselves."
Next comes acceptance of being alone with children of the same sex, and the lowering of the age of concent.
They've went from wanting to be left alone to wanting your young boys legally, and protection by the courts while they play.
Our nation gave them an inch, and they're running tward their last mile.
The Roman Empire fell once, and it will fall again if not set straight while we still have the chance.
All homosexuals should be publically shunned.

If they continue to cave will the Boy Scouts take away the honor of the title? That is the only effective way to keep this kind of thing from finally getting some roots.

I'm afraid that this is becoming a "mode of operation". First with the United Way and now with the Boy Scouts.

The real danger here if the National Organization doesn't act to shut it down is:

It's irreversible. Once a community organization embraces gays, any decent parent is going to remove their children from that situation. Thus, the organization will never recover at the local level.
Seeing success in one community will prompt them to organize to take over other local scouting organizations.
It doesn't take very many of those headlines, before the whole organization's reputation is trashed. Not only will parents be unwilling to send their kids, but any kid who is in it will probably be assumed to be gay until proven otherwise.
If there wasn't enough draw for Pedophiles to seek leadership positions in the Scouts already, this will motivate them.
The National Org has got to shut this down and quickly.

I can't see why the National Organization cannot revoke the charter of the offending Councils/Troops. It has been done before at the council level. Demand the resignation of those who defy basic policy, or drop the group. (Shape up or ship out!) Even better, start a new area council first for the 'refugee' Troops to join before dropping the others.

Leave it to the Gaystapo to ruin it for a lot of kids, but that was the objective anyway, wasn't it? Wretched Pukes.

The luxury of being in the DFW area is that the National Office is located here. So many of the adults that work their are also involved in the two local councils. So I will inquire with the other adults of my unit tomorrow night to see if they have heard anything. The NO usually stamps this out with a mighty hammer, but the BSA is under attack from many directions and sadly anough the Homosexual thing is not even the biggest issue destroying the BSA. The main problem is the lack of male volunteers as adult leaders, so many women take up these roles. This degrads the male bonding and the essential roles Men play in raising boys to healthy upstanding citizen men. This problem Occurs because of two problems. 1. Because of men being cowed through feminization the BSA is becoming panzy-namby everyday. 2. The lack of men sticking around to help raise their kids or due to high divorce rates. As one women put it at a National Order of the Arrow Conference that she had no choice, but to be involved as a Scout leader since it was hard to get the fathers of the kids to be active.

I know many conservatives usually shrug a the problems the Scouts have, but you need to understand the vital role scouting plays in many conservative organization. Many boys who have earned their Eagle and turn eighteen, perdominatly choose two career fields, Civil Servant(Police/Paramedic/Fire Fighter) or the Military. The numbers I have seen place the Boy Scouts that have earned the rank of Eagle to represent 65% of the military men and 85% of the officers. Thats pretty big. So supporting your local council is supporting your favorite organizations as well.
