Two new studies say lead poisoning is killing California's condors, apparently thanks to wildlife killed by hunters and eaten by the giant birds.Normally, when hunters shoot game THEY eat it. And, if hunters DON't eat it, they have it mounted. This doesn't pass the smell test.

We mount it AND eat it. Or at least it sits in our freezer for a couple years and then is disposed of in a sanitary manner far from any Condors.

OTOH, maybe there really are millions of myopic - and not very hungry - hunters in Kali.
