...the Democrats have usually advanced their liberal Marxist agenda of two steps forward and one step backward and won the battle.Could just one example be the guilt-ridden parties in Congress who ordered $2.4 billion sent to people paying no taxes..taking money that would be used for already established social programs that are helping some of the families paying no taxes..those federally funded services that increase government costs.
Ask what childhood literature was the favorite of many of our "elected officials"..and bet it comes up the romantic Victorian classic, Robin Hood.

The truth hurts.
It's a two headed snake.
I'll be surprised if this post isn't pulled because it will upset the moonies.

One of those homosexual Republican Congressman was just outed by the
New Times, an alternative homosexual oriented newspaper.
He is Mark Foley, Palm Beach County and a member of that Class of '94.

You still have not figured it out have you?
The left won the game when they took control of education. Our education systems has taught a new set of liberal views to a generation and a half of Americans.
Some idiots think that if they just influence the right elected officials or elect the right officials it will be fixed. Get a clue. Even a so called conservative Senator will do what a majority of the public wants. Unfortunately a majority of the voters agree with the Log Cabin Republicans. So that is with whom the elected officials sign on.
If the majority of voters agree with your views.. nothing else needs to be done. Politicians will come out of the woodwork to enact your views into law. If a majority of voters disagree with your views they will not be enacted and those that have been enacted previously will be repealed.
Abraham Lincoln said it best. This is a nation of the people, by the people and for the people. It is not a nation of the politicians, by the politicians, and for the politicians. The people on the right never figure out what every Democrat knows. If you have the majority of the voters with you.. .the battle is won.
This is a nation of the people, by the people, and for the people. So the only solution is to educate the public to your point of view. Wasting time on politician is of no value. Spend your time changing what a majority wants.
People who argue that politicians won't do what the public wants, are lying to themselves about how much support their opponents have.
First you change public opinion.. then stand back and watch what you want to happen, happen.

This is from a recent post of mine in another thread:
What you have to understand here is that you're dealing with politicians. You're not dealing with people who stand for philosophy and principle like we do here. Political calculations and ramifications are at the head of their priority list, and it doesn't matter if they're Dems or Republicans, liberals or conservatives.
That's why I couldn't stop laughing the other day when Rush tried to frame the thing about giving child tax credits to people who don't pay taxes as "politics vs. principle." I mean, DUH! How often do politicians choose principle over politics? That particular issue would be a political winner for the GOP. What would you expect them to do?
Bottom line, I wish it were otherwise but our government is a political animal, not a principled animal.
Basically, the problem here is that unlike most of us here, you could probably count on two hands and maybe one foot the actual number of GOP politicians in Washington, whether in Congress or the White House, who actually have a fire in their belly to dismantle the social welfare state and take on the inflated sense of entitlement that everyone has and take this country back to the values that made it great.

Very good article, thorough and well written. I have only one objection: Instead of DEMOPUBLICANS why not the more euphonious (and accurate) epithet: RINOcrats?

Not those moonies, Bushmoonies who go ballistic whenever there is criticism of the party.
I'm saying it's a twofaced one party system.

I disagree. I do not believe Americans believe in this. I believe the silent majority is still concerned about the moral climate in this country but have been silenced by bullies of the "bigot" brigade. Then there is a segment that is totally indifferent to anything. I see a lot of people on here gloating about the supposed fall of the Democrats but the way I see it, they are getting there way on alot of things with the implicit help of the GOP. Republicans stand for nothing, believe in nothing.
But back to the article, it does seem like there are more homosexual Republicans at the national level in elected office if you actually start looking at it. This is curious?

Some idiots think that if they just influence the right elected officials or elect the right officials it will be fixed. Get a clue. Even a so called conservative Senator will do what a majority of the public wants. Oh really?
80% of the people in this country want better border control elimination of illegal immigration.
They don't get it from Congress, do they?
60% of people in California voted for same sex marriages. The legislature undermined that, didn't they? Prop 209 passed by a wide margin. So, did the elected school boards drop bilingual education? Then there was term limits (with which I disagree). Did the legislature follow the will of the people, or did they sue?
Your thesis, although internally logical, is unsupported by facts. Politcians follow the money, not the will of the voters.
First you change the politicians. Then stand back and watch what you want to happen, happen.

In approximately the same time period, Congressman Daniel B. Crane, a Republican conservative from the 12th district in Illinois and a married man and father of six children, engaged in sexual activities with a 17-year old girl while she was serving as a page. Actually it was Phil Crane.

We are in agreement then. I prefer to call them Bush-Bots.
