Bush is scared of corporate America more than anyone.

The problem with that stance is that we are operating in a world economy. Those willing to compete with a lower cost structure will win business. If American companies (representing American share holders) don't exploit the cheaper labor costs someone else (French, German, Chinese, etc.) will.
There are only three actions we can take to address this; 1) Weaken the dollar significantly so that our goods and services become much more affordable on the global market and foreign goods become much more expensive here, 2) Impose strict tarriffs so to achieve much of #1 and 3) change the buying patterns of American consumers to look for the "Made in USA" tag and not the price tag. I suspect that when you go down to the local Walmart you price shop like the rest of us.

Statement: "...A senior US official has said Washington is against any attempt by state governments to legislate a ban on outsourcing on the lines of what is being considered in New Jersey and other states.."
Response; Let us see! Favors "The Big Tent", reaches out to illegal aliens, lobbies homosexuals, screws his own people by sending jobs to foreign countries. Vote for Bush! HAR! HAR! HAR! HAR! In a pigs eye! I've been a registered Republican since 1959.
