At last it can be told.
The mystery of why New York Sen. Hillary Clinton was willing to sacrifice her self-respect and her dignity to stay in a humiliating marriage to ex-President Clinton is a mystery no longer.
She did it to save America.
In her book "Living History," Mrs. Clinton recalls that after she learned about Monica Lewinsky, "I knew what I did and said in the next days and weeks would influence not just Bill's future and mine, but also America's."
"Bill's Presidency, the institutional Presidency and the integrity of the Constitution hung in the balance," Hillary recalls, as she fretted over what to do.
Meanwhile, Bill had his hands full dealing with the gravest national security threat in the nation's entire history. No, not Osama bin Laden.
Writes Hillary, "If men like [Ken] Starr and his allies could ignore the Constitution and abuse power for ideological and malicious ends to topple a President, I feared for my country."
Sorry Sweer Heart .. You made yourself look like a DOORMAT!!
You did more harm to this country and womens rights by choosing to be a DOORMAT!!
Just proves the bitch thinks America is already well on its way to becoming a socialist hell and she might be right; everyone knows she wouldn't lift a finger to save America as originally conceived.
Arrogance. Y'see, they're just that important.
"Bill's Presidency, the institutional Presidency and the integrity of the Constitution hung in the balance," Hillary recalls
What she means is, Bill's Presidency.
I know it sounds far-fetched but somehow I think the other two would've somehow been able to survive without Bill Clinton serving out his term. Well the Constitution, at least. (I don't really know what the "institutional Presidency" is supposed to be.)
Writes Hillary, "If men like [Ken] Starr and his allies could ignore the Constitution
It would be fascinating to see Hillary try to answer the question, "What part of the Constitution exactly do you think it is that Ken Starr 'ignored'?"
to topple a President
So melodramatic. Yes, yes, Presidents ought never be "toppled". I mean it's not like the Constitution explicitly provides for how to remove them in an orderly fashion or anything.
By the way, didn't Ms. Clinton have something to do with the "toppling" of some other President way back when? Back then it was heroic to "topple" a President, you got movies made about you and everything. Now somehow it's the end of the world. Wonder why?
I feared for my country."
She was only thinking about us. I don't know how to thank her.
They would have.
Oh Man,
She must have the same ghostwriter that Chelsea had on 9/11, whilst worrying about the Bush tax cuts!
Hillary Rodham's 1974 Watergate "Procedures were Ethically Flawed"
By Jerry Zeifman
IN December 1974, as general counsel and chief of staff of the House Judiciary Committee, I made a personal evaluation of Hillary Rodham (now Mrs. Clinton), a member of the staff we had gathered for our impeachment inquiry on President Richard Nixon. I decided that I could not recommend her for any future position of public or private trust.
She did it to save America for herself.
(oh, and are we going to get it!)
A little bit of truth in every lie.
"Living History"
--The Memoir of a Traitor
Hillary is trying to boost Bill's Approval Rating
because she needs him to win the White House.
So, now she's his Biggest Fan!
She must really hate him.
This could be her greatest weakness, that she
needs a man, but desires to get power on her own.
I wonder how we could use this against her?
The Conspiring-Clintons
America's Worst Nightmare
She's so selfish.
I hope she at least lets Bill
chew on a few bones.
