IF a change of venue were to happen, the ONLY place I would hate to see it is in downtown LA! That's NOT going to happen. I have this visual in my head today of the Geragos (in total disarray defense team), having a brainstorming session. Matty baby is likely storming up and down the room!! ROFLMAO!! He's probably seen the warrant affidavits etc. already and they are likely listening to Snotty incriminating the bejeezus out of himself of the tapes. OH, dear, I have ABSOLUTELY NO sympathy - NONE!!

I think certain aspects of this defense are going to be especially hard for them. For example, it appears that no one knows exactly when Laci died. So how could Scott bring forth even a faked alibi?
It seems like they'll all have to work mainly from the time she was allegedly last seen or heard alive. So the prosecution will be contending that this was at 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 23. If Scott wants to contend that she was actually seen the next day, he'll have to present something as proof. No doubt he'll put on one or more of the so-called witnesses such as the Mitchells. But the Mitchells have already been caught in inaccuracies. And the high school teacher guy seems like the type who will go so far and no farther. He is not claiming that it was necessarily Laci he saw. In fact, he says he was focusing on the dog. Well, he MIGHT have seen the dog in the park b/f about 10:30, as the dog was running loose. But that doesn't really prove much.
That leaves the Maldonados, and Scott himself. I don't know much about the Maldonados, except as I remember their account may contradict that of the Mitchells. Then there's Scott himself. Given Scott's known various stupid behaviors, they will have to think long and hard b/f they decide to put HIM on the witness stand.
