I didn't scream, but I gasped aloud "Oh, NO!". I had the remote in my hand already and went to MSNBC and saw Abrams (who I've criticized on this Peterson topic before, but kudos to his coverage that night). I didn't see Rita getting it right until later. Ack!

IIRC....Rita didn't say it wrong....but the interpretation just was not there from the start.....

what she should have reported was what the SC decision MEANT to the election...that is...leave it alone......instead, she read a seemingly negative judgement against the good guys (US!)
