Of course that would be the case for you. The people who need to believe in flying saucers also have tons of their own information to prove their beliefs. A man would have to be insane to have a strongly held belief without a quilt work of "evidence" to back up the belief.

Although western civilization is moving in that direction, there is not a single model for such an experiment being successful.

People who have strong beliefs that can not be proven tend to ignore, dismiss or ridicule conflicting information.
