I think supporting the truth is worthy even if only one person is helped.

I'm sure v3 would agree as do I. The truth is definitely worth getting involved in the never ending fight for what is right. Sometimes we just need to take a break. As you said, there are lurkers and others that may benefit from our posts.

I'm reorganizing my links and changing tactics a little, but Lord willing, I'll continue on in this fight until I'm called home.

At one time we had a rather humerous bump list on FR called BRAAD. JimRob disagreed with our tactics so we changed the name to SASU - Straight Americans Speaking Up. Maybe we need to actually form a lobbying and PR group to counter GLAAD. I suspect that most straight Americans would speak up more if they just felt safe in doing so.

Our motto could be, "It's OK to say it's not OK to be gay."

Whaddya think?

Shalom.

And Godspeed to both of you. But keep in mind that even God "gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies, to exchange the truth of God for the lie. They worship and serve the creature rather than the Creator...for this reason God gave them up to their vile passions...." (See Romans 1:20-28)

As far as the "fight" goes, well, the battle belongs to the Lord. We are to speak the truth and we have, ad nauseum.

Christianity aside, how hard is it for anyone (lurkers included) to understand that sodomy is vile, unnatural, shameful, debased, and immoral? How much debate do we need to engage in on a conservative forum to simply state that we are not supportive in any way of the homosexual agenda?

My feeling is that the people who support the sodomite and lesbian agenda (who are sodomites/lebians/bi or indifferent to morality or lefties) are dragging us down to their level of discussion. Look again at the After the Ball summary, my friends. Queer Too, Jeff Gordon, et al. are utilizing most of the arguments set forth in this homo handbook. These people are evolutionists and have made up their minds against God and His design for human sexuality. They are expert at twisting scripture (as is Satan) to excuse their lusts. Demonization of conservative ideals is practically a leftie art form. Say, think, or write anything contrary to their ideology and YOU are the bigot, anti-science, fanatical, homophobic, ignorant, blahblahblah.

This site advertises itself as a forum for conservative debate. As such, I think most lurkers are going to have a conservative bent, but certainly we need to beware of lefties who register and post for obvious reasons. Used to be the FR debate was among conservatives within the conservative spectrum; now we have to debate with a bunch of liberals. I don't get enough of that elsewhere??
