Even if he's not confirmed, though, he's just raised the bar for candor, which is a Bad Thing for Democrat inquisitors. Playing nice-nice is a tacit admission that the D's are right. Speaking truthfully puts the D's in the position of having to defend indefensible positions.

Although your statement is true, I see it as simply standing up to bullies. The liberals are hypocritical moral bullies with their buddies, the media, backing them up. If you accommodate them, they win. If you stand up to them they skulk away.
