"SHEEEEESH, and I thought I was the only one who noticed...LOL!!"

You were amoung the first, dofuss. {g}

"Dubyuh and his domestic team are soooo sure they got me and my fellow RightWingers wrapped up in November 2004 that he don't seem the least bit reticent in abandoning my principles of smaller and less intrusive federal governance..."

We're at 60Hz on that thought, young man.
Almost seems as if the base is being held hostage with a "take it or leave it" attitude, doesn't it??
I mean it just might be it is you & I who're outa the mainstream and as such the man & party have deemed us expendable.
Could be.

...but he's really sucked the wind from my sails with his Milquetoast Moderatism lately. Sure, the RATS are not to be entrusted with the reigns of power in this most dangerous of times, but what the hell happened to doing what's right and taking on the big spenders in DeeCee?!"

Ummmm...he *thinks* he is doing the "right" thing(s)??
Just guessing mind you 'cuz he sure in the hell hasn't really said what & why he's doing what he has...or plans.

"Many so-called BushBashers have been predicting this all along, but I just wanted to give Dubyuh the benefit of the doubt."

You & me, both.
Last thing I ever imagined I'd find myself doing is attacking this man over *anything* he'd do.
Especially when I considered he'd have to first straighten out the bombastic mess he was left following the 8 year nightmare.
I took for granted there'd be much *pain* associated with such a massive process & gave him *plenty* of room.

But Mud?
I have to say I haven't seen him do any of the things I'd voted for him to do, to date.
The guy can't even get his judicial nominees through in spite of him holding the bully puplit & both houses and there's always an excuse visa vi the 'Rats et al ad nauseum.

I'm sure it's just me, but, the guy seems to have elected to work "with" things just as they are with the periodic & ever-so-slight modification, every now & then.
That's *not* "change" in my book, that's status quo.

Granted, he's had to deal with the towlhead-maniacs & no one could've foreseen that.
To that end I'd give him the highest of grades as his people have performed in an exemplary way.
Our national security couldn't possibly have been in better hands, I truly believe.

But that facet has come at a tremendous cost to the Republic & our liberty(s); so, it's not as if we haven't been made to pay for it.
Then there're other areas that're screaming for attention which're every bit as important to all our well being, also.
The illegal mess for example, or the economy insofar as jobs being shipped out the country -- wholesale -- while the offending corp's goods are sent back in? Or how about the prescription drug boondoggle?? What's THAT all about!??! Aren't we BROKE *&* DEPENDENT enough as it is?
Of course there's the education cesspool and the lock the NEA has which continues to enable 'em to groom a whole new generation of Liberal-Socialist idiots.
WTF ever happened to vouchers??

I could go & on and on, as it doesn't take a brainiac to see this stuff but what's the use.
Ain't gonna change a thing.
Nevertheless, these are the thing that're on my mind as the election grows close.

But then I'm preaching to the chorus, huh.

"Increasingly, though, there ain't no doubt that Dubyuh's NO fiscal conservative!!"

No I guess he ain't, not if one were to form an opin based solely on what he'd done.

But then that's not the worst of it, either.
The "bad news" will be there'll be *no* one to challenge him in the primary.
Our choices will be Liberal-lite or Liberal-hard & that assumes [they] haven't redefined the *meaning* of "liberal" between now & the election, eh?

Don't laugh, son.
We've witnessed the Episcopalians redefine the very Bible as well as a RINO like Arnold being compared to Ronald Reagan & since RR cannot set the record straight that kinda baloney effectively redefines Reagan conservatism now, doesn't it??

Yea-yea...I guess if we've learned nothing a'tall, it'd be never say never.
Or, "When the band you're in starts playing different tunes..." ~eh.

"Tax cuts are all fine and dandy, but we gotta git serious about cutting domestic spending largesse as well!! Do we REALLY need to spend $2 Trillion per annum at the Federal Level?! I think not."

You're just being rhetorical, aren'tcha? :o)
Such a *nice* guy, are you.

There've been a couple of people who summed up these "tax cuts" {spit} quite nicely.
Essentially they said [paraphrased] "What good is a a $2 tax cut when they're spending $4?"
The *logic* is inescapable.

>Bringing any (of my) discontent here was not then & is not now an option, either. This is JR's place.<
"Yep...I ain't noticed, though, has JimRob maintained his unabashed support fer Dubyuh despite Bush's willingness to abandon us rightWingers at the very hint of a potential moderate joining his cadre?!"

Well boy you just keep on asking those kinds of questions & you're gonna find out real quick.
Those ain't been skyrockets seen flying outa here, y'know.

If you *smell* electricity you'll be finding out the *new*, redefined meaning of an old & very familiar word, "free."

..."free" ain't what it used to be boy, y'hear?
