I stayed a little while, tempting the lightning. From when I joined the Freepers Assembled at 6:45 or so the line going in was always pretty long -- 50 to 100. Families, singles, multi-ethnic, a mix.

The acoustics of the grassy island in the huge parking lot across to the Hillary lemming line were never good. It was hard to engage across the wide driving lane. I remeber the impeachment era freeps in front of the White House -- there the acoustics are pretty good. But in the Wal-Mart parking lot it was all stand around and watch them watching us. A lot of questions "Who is Juanita?" -- we had an "I believe Juanita" sign.

An ALA-type came up to me once to say "I believe Juanita. Junaita Hill." "That's Anita, ma'am. Anita Hill," I gently remarked. She continued, "I said I believe Juanita too! Juanita Hill! I believe THAT Juanita!" "I believe you mean *Anita* Hill ma'am. Not Juanita -- Anita." She walked back to lemming-ville, totallly befuddled.

If I may, I would like to posit what is happening with the people buying the Book of Obvious Lies -- it is their *last hurrah* dance with Hillary. It is their psyche's signal gesture --"This and no more!"

Hillary's ghost keyboarders have just inked her swan song. She cannot recover from it. The people buying that book have written her off and will `not write her back in. They buy the book like buying a momento of a departed sports star.

Goodbye dearest Hillary! -- that book is the momento. A political tombstone.

She couldn't even write her own epitath -- she had the ghostwriter's do it.

Good post but it's memento, as in memory, not momento, as in moment. I hear and see this mistake everywhere.
