Whether the killing field is a specific Stalag (as with Hitler) or a waisted, starving landscape purposely rendered that way by the forced regulation and tyranny of the state (Stalin), the resulting death is the same.

In fact, if anything, Stalin (along with Mao IMHO) proved that the latter is capable of killing many more without tieing up as much of the tyrant's resource.

I pray the Palestinians are not driven out either...but much different than with those victims under Hitler or Stalin, they have a very clear say in the matter. If they will definitively show action regarding fighting and expelling the terrorists operating amongst them, they will be viewed as allies and would avoid any such action.

If, however, they continue to support and abet and harbor terrorists amongst them, then they will ultimately have to be viewed as part of the enemy as Israel's security continues to deteriorate and as more and more Israelis die. I believe that decision should be forced sooner rather than later.

I still think the horror a dying in a gas chamber while a mother clutches her children naked to her body is more horrific than the lottery of Death under Stalin.

The Palestinains can't dissent. Anyone who does is butchered. I really think if the Israelis would just not react to a couple of terror bombings and instead proclaim that they will refrain from action in the hope of peace that it might have an effect on the Palestinians themselves. Perhaps some other actions like stopping the settlements and removing several of them? What would be the propaganda effect among the Palestinians who are cowed into submission to the more radical among them? Right now there appears to be zero "middle ground" among Palestinians except annihilation of Israel.
