Actually, many, many of them did not want to go. They'd been there for a long time and viewed it as there own land in many cases.

But as another poster indicated, we had lots of guns and they complied, not always without resistance. But we forced them to because they were members of an enemy nation/culture who had lost a war against us.

If the Palestinians do not stop the violence against Israel emminating from among their own ranks, if they do not stop harboring them amongst them, ultimately they will be viewed and treated the same.
