That tells me he assaulted that child nine times. Or maybe Mom once (while they waited for the child) and the child eight times.

Of course one rape is too much. Eight or nine is unspeakable! We need to change our laws. IMHO, these charges demand the death penalty. Jail time is nothing but a joke - if the perp ever gets out!

We can actually thank the tragically misguided feminist movement in this country for the lessening of rape laws over the last several decades. (You see - the so-called women's movement wasn't really about protecting women and/or children.) But that's another story.

You're absolutely right - it's a joke when convicted rapists serve an average of less than 5 years in this country (DOJ figures). And worse, only about 15% are even reported.

They had better NEVER let this monster out of prison, because he'll be sure not to screw up (from his point of view) the next time by being a bit humane. That is, he'll surely kill his next victim after using and abusing her in an attempt to avoid capture. Death would be the best treatment for what ails him.
