That's not quite fair. He wanted to use that picture in a story about abortion. If I remember right, it was implying that that was an abortion in progress. Who knows, but if he was gonna talk about abortion then he should've used pictures OF abortions, not pictures of life-saving procedures to save the baby.
Whatever the case, I still wish his show on FNC was still on. One of my favorite programs at the time.

He didn't want to use the picture in a story about abortion (and so what if he did), it was a story about amazing new medical technology. He certainly wasn't claiming it was an abortion in progress, he was claiming it was a wonderful new medical advance that could change lives. Why should Fox prohibit that picture whether it was about abortion or not? It was a picture of a medical procedure, but it wasn't disgusting, it was inspiring. The only reason not to show that picture is it made a baby at that stage of development seem human.
[By the way, the baby in that picture is alive today without spina bifida. Without that surgery that bab would have spina bifida today.]
