EXACTLY! I go to a woman's health bulletin board sometimes and frequently women from Canada compare their health system to our good one here. If we are not careful, the leftists will drive us into the Canadian model..One of the things we need to attend to immediately is tort reform so that greedy, unscrupulous lawyers cannot destroy our good doctors and drive them out of practice. We might find ourselves with a delay in getting treatment if this continues to happen and if emergencey rooms continue to close because of it. We have the best medical system the world has ever seen and we had better protect the best training facilites for physicians..Johns Hopkins, Harvard, Columbia, Baylor, etc. It is my understanding that all these medical schools are in need of money and that the present high level of training of interns and residents cannot continue without future funding. If the ultra rich, meaning Democrats, representated by the entertainment industry, care about the nation, instead of running around badmouthing it, they could give donations to medical schools who are in the real business of helping people.
