I agree, but I just hope the conservatives in the senate realize it. They haven't as we speak.

Hey, I bet those of you trying to raise a family on $27K didn't know you were "fat cats".For some Dems, if you're not living off the public one way or another, you're a fat cat.

"The tax-cut cost too much!"
It cost us nothing to cut taxes, but you heard this mantra every day.
But this does cost, yet no one says it does.
The network news is like something from another dimension...

The social security and medicare taxes are supposed to fund those programs that these people will want when they retire.
They do NOT pay income tax and so should not get a refund, especially when they already get the EITB, which is welfare!!

The social security and medicare taxes are supposed to fund those programs that these people will want when they retire. FICA is a tax, not an investment. Most of the people who don't make enough to pay income tax but do pay FICA will be lucky if they seen 10 cents of every dollar FICA steals from them.

I agree. But it is the same people (liberal Democrats) that fight to keep this bogus system that are now complaining about the GOP not categoriaing payroll taxes as income taxes.
They seem to want it both ways.
