Yes, yes, YES!!
Is there any way we could just change the characters from our TV's around, just a little bit? I mean, then Laci would be this book author, see, and Hillary would be...
To: Jackie-O
Oh, no! As usual, I missed it! In spite of so many people here giving us the time of that interview, and everything! Hey, how did the Rochas answer that question, "Do you think Scott killed her?"
To: Velveeta
not to dredge up old trials, but westerfield was dragged thru the countryside, kept out of his house, not fed, not allowed to sleep , all this without representation, and yet the Peterson attorneys are subpoening a judge about a few minutes of telephone conversation?
just goes to show you what money will buy you.....

LOL!!!!....in a perfect world , Devil, in a perfect world....
about the Laci coverage.....I too, have had enough......I won't watch anymore....not LK, not Fox, nothing, nada.....it's just a soap box for Geragos and I won't give him the pleasure anymore, him and all those re-cycled, battering ram attornies they have on all the channels....
I was surprised to see they had time to talk about Molly Bish this morning....the interview with her mom and dad on CBS was heart-breaking to be sure.....her mom said no parent should have to have their child brought back to them "bone by bone".....

Jonna M. Spilbor must be a defense attorney with her breathless characterizations throughout her column. "Monster in Chains" is what Peterson was called? Why that is akin to peasants and pitchforks!
And she fancies herself a mindreader with this comment: ...not the walkover prosecutors had envisioned. It is too much to ask, I'm sure, how she knows what the proscutors "envisioned", other than evidence to present at trial.
Then she states this: But once the leak occurred, prosecutors - who blamed the leak on the defense, but did not provide evidence to support their suspicions - changed their mind, and sought to unseal the report on Conner Peterson. Well, Ms. Spilbor, reporters were saying the leaks were coming from the defense.
And as to the Frey photos---evidently Ms. Spilbor was not aware that these pictures were revealed long ago and last week's Flynt extravaganza was merely reviving those. I also am not aware the photos were taken for a "nudie magazine". Ms. Spilbor, who claims she's so interested in precise evidence, fails to name this anonymous publication. Perhaps it was Frey's intention that they someday be published in such a magazine, and perhaps not, but I don't think that has been established, Ms. Spilbor. Also, I don't believe Frey lied about their existance, so her credibility regarding this case has not been tainted.
I didn't click to read the rest of this article.

just goes to show you what money will buy you.....I also think it goes to show you that those tapes must be quite damning for the defense to be working furiously at having them squashed.

Oh, well. I guess it figures that they would be cautious, while the trial's still pending. They don't want their interview to be cited as "grounds for a change of venue" or some other such tripe.
But I think it was kind of fruit (New Orleans lingo for "not fair") for the TeeVee people to publicize the interviewer asking the Rochas that question, to pique people's interest, if the TeeVee people knew darn well that the question had such a let-down of an answer...
To: Velveeta
Couric: Do you believe that Scott did this to your daughter and grandson? Sharon Rocha: Thats not anything were going to talk about.Yes, I noted the Rochas' response when I made my transcriptions last night as the show aired here. But they did say at the end that they thought justice would be done at trial...They all but said they know he did this, but I'm sure were told not to say it explicitly.
To: cyncooper
I think that was a 'wise' response on their part. I'm not sure I could be that fair.

I also think it goes to show you that those tapes must be quite damning for the defense to be working furiously at having them squashed. Exactly.
And the autopsy, too.
