Guilty or not, if they were searching in a very public way for my dead wife I would go out and watch.I get the impression that Scott did not go out to the Marina to watch the search in a public way. Sounds like he was lurking and thought that no one knew he was there. Keeping tabs on how close the police might be to where he dumped the bodies.
If he had nothing to hide, why bother sneaking out there. He would know Laci and Conner were not there, and would focus his efforts elsewhere.
Reminds me of Robert Chambers, lurking with the bystanders when they found Jennifer Levin in Central Park.

the taking of items in Scott and Laci Peterson's home that Friday, was declared a civil matter, not criminal, and MPD was on stand-by... They (Rochas) did have keys until Jackie and Lee Peterson changed them all preventing the Rochas from retrieving Laci's items.
In the views of MPD, this was a civil matter, not criminal. ;o)

It was reported that Scotts own mother admitted to going into the house & cleaning it up with her husband, ...so the site was disturbed or tainted by them already! And, according to the logic of Matt Dalton, they could have planted evidence.

on PD, depends on hiring standards, and training.. they get what they seek... Otherwise, departments who hire above standards, obtain a good community policing department.

LOL! Loved that website. Even though Joan Crawford has been dead for 26 years I still think she'd be the perfect choice to play Jackie P. They have the same eyes...sort of crazed.

Okay, I think this is what you were looking for?
The Abrams Report
"JAMES HATTORI, NBC NEWS CORRESPONDENT: Good evening Catherine. Lets start with a development today in Davis, California, which is less than an hour northwest of here where some of Scott Petersons defense team was there today looking into the possibility that some human remains that were found there last week may have a connection to this case. Some remains were found in a dumpster in a plastic container in a trailer park in Davis last week.
They are unidentified so far. They include at least one human-at least one female, that is. And perhaps as many as four different individuals are involved in these remains. Now, they have not been identified. Obviously, there is no sign or evidence at this point that it has any link to the Peterson case.
Nonetheless, Scott Petersons attorneys are there checking it out. There will be a DNA test to try and establish whether or not there is any connection to the case. And that obviously will take some time for them to complete based on what the assistant coroner out there is saying today.
Now lets look at some developments that were looking at court wise here this week. One thing that could happen, just about any time, is the possibility that a gag order could be issued by Judge Girolami. He had a hearing last week and talked about that. He has expressed concern about this before, too much information, perhaps, compromising Scott Petersons ability to get a fair trial. The prosecutor favors some new limited - limitations, rather, on investigators and lawyers.
But the defense, however, is opposed to that because they feel that that would make it hard to correct what information is out there, if it is erroneous. The judge will make a ruling any time, and well look for that sometime maybe this week. Also, another judge in the case, the judge that handled the pre-arrest search warrants for Scott Petersons property, is expected to rule on whether or not those search warrants and materials will be made public based on a request by the media.
The-again, the defense is opposed to that coming out right now. They believe that it would hurt their own independent investigation. They are looking into the possibility that someone else killed Laci Peterson and they say theyre making progress and they dont want that information to interfere with that.
One also-one other thing that may come out this week is wiretapped conversations between Scott Peterson and his attorney that were intercepted by police investigators. The defense is concerned that those were improperly intercepted in violation of the client/attorney privilege. Theyve asked the judge to consider sanctions potentially against the prosecution for this. That will be taken up at a hearing sometime later this month-Catherine.....

None that I know of, unfortunately. I do remember that runningbear posted a story about the fact that they had FOUND these remains in the dumpster, but that was when the find was first made, so obviously they couldn't have said at that time whether they were Laci's.
Later I heard they were remains of more than one person, and at that time I kind of stopped having much hope that they would help solve this case!
To: cgk
no I don't think so. UC Davis is a medical research facility amongst other medical stuff.. I think someone was careless in disposing of these remains...

The fruits of my busy behavior call me Mom. I will be careful from now on to not use either term "being busy" or "getting busy" lest my husband should begin to worry. Henceforth should anyone ask about my hectic day, I'll just say I've been "hustling and bustling".
Hmmm.... to avoid a similiar misunderstanding, you may not want to say that you were hustling... : )

Joan Crawford was my pic as well for whacki jackie.

We just can't say for sure what the evidence is against Scott. I will tell you that there must be some concrete evidence or he wouldn't have been arrested for her murder. It is not only that her body washed up and he was the husband. They HAVE to have some heavy stuff on him.

We do have direct evidence of an affair But wait do we? No one saw them sleeping together. Maybe Amber is lying to get her 15 minutes!

I wonder if MAtt was one of the defense team members seen by the neighbors swimming in the Peterson pool (per CTV, last Fri)
That's low as whale____ IMHO.
RB, thanks, MSNBC it is then.
