Scary. I did see that cartoon---it was infuriating.
Remember that Arab editorial about 18 months ago that so hateful towards Dr. Rice that it was actually hilarious? They called her a "jungle bunny" or "amazon" something and referred to her as GW Bush "concubine." I see the wonderful progressive press has picked up on this vein of Goebbelesque smear.
Ironically, the people who wrote that crap in the cartoon you posted are following an evil script more than they realize. The Nazis had two terms for whipping up the masses into justification for what they wanted:
1. Kampfsinn - which is a 'sense of struggle' against a percieved enemy
2. Selbsterhaltungstried - big word, it kind of translates into 'self preservation drive' and it was used to describe an "us versus THEM!" way of thinking.
So Condi, in their mind, is not one of "us"--she is with GW Bush--so she is one of "THEM!" There must be a Kampfsinn to continue the hate--so real solutions to problems must be avoided and not discussed. Dissent must be oppressed. The masses must believe that only a privildeged few can lead them--and fear and hate must be the prime motivators.
Incredible how evil follows the same road.
Funny, but the mention of her name causes me to jab a single finger upward.
Oh, wait. I forgot about Arlen Specter.
